Colours of Thetford Project for Home Educating Families

Wednesday 23 and Wednesday 30 April 2025 - 10.30am-12.30pm. You must be able to attend both workshops.

We are inviting Home Educating Families to join in with a Thetford-wide art project inspired by Angélica Dass's Humanae project.

Dass's work features photographs celebrating the diverse beauty of human skin. Participants will learn about Dass's work and explore mixing their own skin colour from paint and describing it.

Participants will create either a painted square or a self-portrait at artist led sessions at the museum. Their work will culminate in an installation of painted portraits and squares which will be displayed in the town.

Spaces are limited so please book by emailing ancienthouse@norfolk.gov.uk with the subject line 'Colour of Thetford'.
